Window Design Center (WDC) from Zuern is actively seeking a full time Window and Door Service Technician at our Madison location.  WDC from Zuern  is a family-owned and operated window and door design company.   We take pride in our tradition of providing high quality building materials and valuable services to our customers.  We are “Building on Service”.

Duties Include:

• Performing warranty and service work on various window lines
• Investigating concerns and identifying solutions in the windows department with customers and team members
• Documenting service and installations actions
• Performing the jambing and mulling of windows and doors
• Assisting in the ordering and gathering of components and parts for service work
• Performing screen and hardware installs along with service walkthroughs
• Assisting with showroom updates at all company locations
• Maintaining job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma of GED
• Must have 3+ years of experience in the building materials industry or finish trade or equivalent education, training and/or related work experience
• Requires working knowledge of power tools
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and 100 pounds occasionally. Physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving of your whole body to handle, install, and position material
